cleanliness, comfortable bedding very good value for money
hotel a bit old and stairs not very practical.
A little long the preparation of the dishes in the hotel restaurant.
it was very cold in the room :(
Everything was great.
A warm friendly experience. Very helpful and enjoyed stay.I will consider it again when visiting Leeds.
Staff were friendly, it was very quiet, good value for money
Beds were a bit hard, room smelt musty on arrival
Very friendly staff, great location for getting into the city centre and very comfortable accomodation.
Everything was good. The staff and the breakfast were excellent. The bed was comfy and the bathroom clean. The bedlinen was good. In all, value for money and lovely people.
The room was in need of an update and the carpet and bed were OK but too old. The TV needed attention and internet connection would have been good.
The hotel staff were really friendly and welcoming. Good value for money.
The smell! Unfortunately there seemed to be a problem with the drains/plumbing and the smell was apparent when entering the corridor where the bedrooms were. Our room was particularly bad but as we had arrived late at night we did not ask to be moved. The main areas of the hotel were fine but I think the rest could do with an injection of cash.
Friendly and helpful staff, always available. Good breakfast. Plenty of tea and coffee. Good situation for visiting daughter in Chapel Allerton. Easy to find. Good sized car park
Would have preferred brown bread toast for breakfast.Bottom sheet was too small to tuck in properly. Bathroom sink leaked in double room. Shower came on suddenly at 7am in the single room bathroom both nights
The staff were very friendly and welcoming, the complementary free breakfast at the hotel was a lovely bonus. We were invited warmly and explained to very well.
The hotel needs updating, some of the rooms were very old fashioned and very very dated. The colour shemes were very aged and looked a bit run down. Although it was clean, cheap and friendly, the only thing that would make this hotel even nicer would be better facilites i.e. new sink, shower, toilet, curtains, carpets etc..
The service was outstanding, lovely people, ideal for hen and stag doos and nights out lovely breakfast.
I found the hotel owners absolutely charming - they went out of their way to make us feel at home and to ensure we had everything we wanted. The whole experience was lovely - a real home from home. We shall certainly be visiting again.
George & Mika were very considerate and welcoming hosts - lovely people, with many years experience at this hotel.
The barman george was a very pleasant individual.
The hotel was difficult to find and parking was very difficult due to sloppy parking by the party that was being held. The cold tap in the sink barely worked. I was awoken at 5 am by doors being hammered and people almost shouting in the corridor. It was so awful that I rose shortly after and left foregoing my breakfast.I would certainly not stop there again.
